NOGA mission is to regulate the oil and gas industry and related businesses in the Kingdom of Bahrain and supervise their development by: Develop petroleum general policies and strategic directives; Control the companies and establishments operating in the field of oil and gas and development associated industries; Ensure sustainability of oil and gas supply to meet current and future requirements; Increase revenue and contribute to maximising the national economy and to raising standard of living; Utilize petroleum resources efficiently and optimally; Encourage investments by the private sector; Encourage scientific research and develop leaderships and capable human resources; Achieve global standards in occupational safety, health and environment; Comply with corporate governance rules, practices and controls.
